Ruebush & Cook Join AITC

 

Jill & Abby

Abby Ruebush and Jill Cook have recently joined our Ag in the Classroom staff. 

Here is some information about them!

 

           Abby Ruebush resides in rural Macomb. She grew up in LaHarpe, IL and graduated with WIU with a degree in Elementary Education. Abby taught reading/language arts at Industry Junior Senior High School for two years before coming to the Macomb school district where she taught fifth grade for five years at Edison. For the past few years, she has enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom to her five year old farm boy, Kade. Abby enjoys spending time with her family and helping her husband, Karl, at the farm.
Jill Cook grew up on a grain and livestock farm just outside of Colchester, IL. She graduated from West Prairie High School in 2011. Jill earned her associates degree from Spoon River College in 2013. She is currently working on her Bachelor’s degree at WIU and plans to graduate in 2015. Jill and her husband, Dylan, live on a grain farm north of Sciota, IL.  She is the Blandinsville Blue Ribbons Cloverbud leader and an active member of the West Prairie FFA Alumni. In her free time she enjoys scrapbooking and spending time with her husband on the farm.

Abby and Jill are excited to share their love of agriculture with the students in McDonough County thought the AITC program! Please help us welcome them to the program!
