WIU Ag Camp

Do you want to learn how to extract your own DNA? Produce and film your own “Farm Report” in a complete broadcast television studio? How about make a ball out of sheep fiber that you sheared? Or even better, learn what a 2” rainfall does to the ground beneath your feet. This summer, 6th – 8th graders are invited to step into the world of agricultural science.Western Illinois University’s  School of Agriculture, one of twelve signature programs, has partnered with the Office of Study Abroad and Outreach, University of Illinois Extension, and the McDonough County Farm Bureau to provide you with this exciting opportunity.
