Now Hiring: Agriculture Literacy Coordinators

McDonough County's Ag in the Classroom program is looking for part-time Agriculture Literacy Coordinators. Our coordinators are comfortable, but not limited to, creating programs for PreK-5th grade in classrooms and community settings.

McDonough County Ag in the Classroom is an educational program that connects students and teachers to agriculture. The McDonough County Ag in the Classroom program is an established and supported program thanks to our donors, teachers, and community. Today’s children are less likely to have a direct connection to production agriculture because the average person is now three generations removed from the farm. Because of this, our Ag Literacy Coordinators work to educate our future consumers of the importance agriculture has on everyone’s daily lives.
