2026 Scholarship Program
The McDonough County Farm Bureau Foundation scholarship applications will be available from February 16, 2026 through April 1, 2026. Students who reside in McDonough County, are pursuing an agricultural-related degree at an accredited institution of higher education, and are a high school senior, high school graduate, or current college student may apply. All completed applications must be submitted by the end of the day on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.

These scholarships are awarded to individuals who show excellence in scholarship, leadership, and/or financial need. We continue this scholarship program with hopes to help assure a well-qualified and professional agricultural workforce.

Congratulations to the 2025 Scholarship Recipients!
We are happy to announce the 2025 scholarship recipients (from left to right, in the picture below), Jeffrey Lee, Drew Creasey, Braydon DeCounter, and Leah Sargeant. Not pictured recipients are Carter Hoge, James Corrie, and Grace Dunseth. These seven individuals plan to continue their higher education within the agriculture field and have demonstrated great success in scholarship, leadership, and community involvement.
